Kaufman Rossin Fund Services LLC obtains its SAS 70 Type II certification

Kaufman Rossin Fund Services LLC (KRFS), a leading provider of administration services to the alternative investment community, announced today that it has successfully completed a SAS 70 (Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70) Type II certification. SAS 70 is an auditing standard designed to enable an independent auditor to evaluate and issue an opinion on a service organization's controls.

SAS 70 is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) which provides third party verification of data and operation controls and has become one of the most widely recognized auditing standards for service companies. In addition to being used by KRFS' customers and their respective auditors, it has become a due diligence requirement for investors, funds, and regulators as the demand for independent and transparent outsourcing increases.
