MFA is the voice of the global alternative investment industry. Its members are professionals in hedge funds, funds of funds and managed futures funds, as well as industry service providers. Established in 1991, MFA is the primary source of information for policy makers and the media and the leading advocate for sound business practices and industry growth. MFA members include the vast majority of the largest hedge fund groups in the world who manage a substantial portion of the approximately $1.7 trillion invested in absolute return strategies. MFA is headquartered in Washington, D.C., with an office in New York.

The New York Hedge Fund Roundtable is a non-profit organization committed to promoting education and best practices in the hedge fund industry. Our membership is comprised of investors, investment managers and other industry professionals, who meet regularly to share insights and connect with like-minded colleagues. We host events featuring a wide range of thought-provoking speakers which provide our members the opportunity to garner useful information and exchange ideas. Our goal is to create a forum where professionals can enhance their knowledge and network with industry colleagues committed to the highest ethical standards.

The Southeastern Hedge Fund Association, Inc. has been organized to promote contact among alternative investment professionals of the Southeast with particular emphasis on those firms in the hedge fund industry. Through its programs, information sources, and activities, the Association's mission is centered on providing an effective forum for the education, interaction, and advancement of both its members and the broader southeastern hedge fund community as well.

Formed in 2007, the Florida Alternative Investment Association (formerly South Florida Hedge Fund Managers) is an exclusive not-for-profit money manager association, dedicated to informing and uniting the growing population of Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Palm Beach and Naples hedge fund managers, fund of fund managers, analysts, and traders.

Hedge Funds Care is an international charity, supported largely by the hedge fund industry, whose sole mission is preventing and treating child abuse. It has 2 goals:
- To raise as much money as possible to fund the programs that do the preventing and treating.
- To showcase the philanthropy of the hedge fund industry.

Capital for Kids is a network of individuals and organizations involved and serving the investment management business dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children in need. Capital for Kids supports organizations that educate, protect and encourage the development of children in the North Texas area, and we also raise awareness of children in need of support.
